I cannot stand it when parents act in a tough, aggressive manner to children who are only asking questions. You only wanted to know what religion was true and honest, Kristalia. You didn't mean any harm. Every child is curious about his or her upbringing, his or her surroundings or why people do what they do. That is natural, otherwise the child would never learn anything. She need not have grounded you for asking what was a perfectly innocent question. That was cruel.

@kets4443A kid recognises his father beneath his Santa disguise. He is not that stupid.

@ems7623 If I disguise myself as Queen Camilla - wig and all - I am still myself and would get recognised as not the real Queen. That is the same with Santa Claus. You can only fool children up to a certain age about him.

A lot of people follow their parents' religion - or even, other religions, because they are afraid of what may happen to them when they die. They are afraid of going to hell, for example, so they think that being religious will prevent that.
