It means the police unit is a CRS, a 80 people company that move around france for special police operations like riot control. They use them cause they are not uprooted in the locality they intervene and dont care much about locals. At first the yellow vest movement was. Doing very good cause they blocked hundred of roads all across the country all the time, and local police and gerndarmerie would simply tell them to move away with no violence, they would move 500m away and block somewhere else. Once the yyellow vest decided to move all to paris, it became a war with CRS units being very violents and hard left and hard right militants creating violence too.
