I am myself north african living in France, and I once saw a white woman attacked by someone in a fully packed subway (the aggressor had already knocked out another woman just before entering the train), I protected her, had I not been there she may have suffered a lot, and nothing happened. Nobody helped me, I had to wait 3 stations, and a big turkish or armenian guy came in and helped me put the aggressor out of the train, that's when I realized I had lot my earpods and the woman I helpef offered me hers but I refused. It happened I had left them home, shittiest commute.
