  1. Just to add about it's weird popularity with the "wrong" people, it's heavy enough to register as a commercial vehicle. So, tax breaks, and if you get it as a company expense, it's practically free. Fucking gross that the rich can do that, but yeah that's a big reason for its popularity. Kinda luxury at minimal prices, then a status symbol leading to more people getting it.
