You make a good point. Too many "Instagram " minded voters either don't bother to be informed, don't know how to be informed or are don't think voting matters. "Uneducated & lazy" has brought us to this point in America.

@ericcollins-mf8vb Throughout the past decades I've heard people complain about funding for schools "because I don't have children". They forget that these "other people's kids" will grow up to run the world...without being educated!

@Deb_BG Not surprising but sad that Dumpty's BS is believed. A test to vote is too Jim Crow...but a test to pass each grade from 1st to 12th should be MANDATORY. We do no favor for the person or society by "pushing" kids up to the next grade before they have learned anything!

@russellsabolic5336 Good point. Reading is useless without comprehension and critical thinking skills. I was lucky to get a good primary education and tested at college level comprehension in the 6th grade. Today's kids are being short changed. Parents need to protest this & not be banning books & worrying about progressive "indoctrination".
