@austinthomas9068 On the contrary, the Dept of Education needs to be fully funded & public schools fully funded, teachers paid a LIVING WAGE and citizens taught critical thinking, rather than pushing "religious" charters schools on everyone. I was lucky to attend public school when the teachers didn't need 2nd jobs & have to buy class supplies themselves. Disgraceful for an "advanced" nation!

@faithpearlgenied-a5517 Sadly one of the most disturbing things to me is when Jimmy Kimmel sends a person onto the streets of Los Angeles to ask questions of random members of the public. These are simple questions such as "who is our President?"or "who is this person?" ..when shown a photo of Joe Biden. He once asked them to recite the Pledge of Allegiance & no one could! We were taught this in 1st grade!

@kimobrien. Well that sounded like a "bot" answer. So you don't think learning about tariffs is good if a candidate is threatening to impose them & it could affect your daily life? How else do you decide on your own vote? Just close your eyes & pick one? Sounds like Russian Roulette...

@jimohara More likely people were too lazy to learn the possible affects of each candidate's plans & just went for the one who talked the same trash as them & hated the same people as them...never mind the destruction of democracy. The Democratic candidate did use words of more than one syllable and presented actual economic policies. Way too sophisticated speech for the "eating the cats" "poisoning the blood" crowd

@Stranzua Get real. Being Transgender is not a choice any more than being gay or straight Is a choice...it just is...& is acted upon or not as the individual sees fit. At what age did you DECIDE to be straight (I am assuming you are straight) & why did you make that choice?

More believable is that 25% of US adults read below 6th grade level, comprehend below that, and cannot count past 10 with their shoes on. How else could Dumpty get elected, unless he CHEATED? @JeikuAnimeReview When was school state run? I missed that in my lifetime. Don't think it is a good idea based on some states already pushing "Christianity " in public school ...while it is unconstitutional. You are probably right that all charter schools are not religious but they do siphon funds from already broke public schools. Not helpful for the poor neighborhoods.

@JeikuAnimeReview State run abortion laws are working out really well for pregnancies gone wrong and states "adjusting" voting laws kinda sucks, too. There are some things too important to be left to the whims of crazy state legislators.

@bhabbott If Harris should have stayed with "sound bites" why was she constantly criticized for "not explaining her policies"? She gave the highlights in speeches & posted details online...but nothing was good enough because she was not obscene & cruel & threatening, which they equated with "strength". Gotta have a strong MAN in office, when women nearly always prove to have a better temperament for leadership.
