@cromefire_ listen closely: 230v 32a × 3 = 22kw l1 + l2 = 400v 16a + l1 + l3 = 400v 16a + l2 + l3 = 400v 16a = 400v 48a = 19kw

most 220-240v lcd tvs are 50/60hz
3
fun fact: north american ps3 & ps4 consoles say 100-120v 50/60hz on the outside but on the inside they say 100-240v 50/60hz so they can be used in europe
3
in europe almost everything is 230/400v 3 phase
2
10kw? 230/400v 3x32a is 22/19kw
2
what country are you talking about? i know finland used tn-c
1
how can italy be only 3kw? the standard italian socket is 16a 3.6kw
1
it especially annoys me because the nus-002(usa) & dol-002(usa) literally say 120v
1
the standard main fuse sizes in europe are 3x25a & 3x35a
1
what about 3 phase european homes?
1
some european countries use tn-c (bootleg ground) in old installations
1
@securitycamera8776 an rcd won't work with tn-c
1
@GH-oi2jf my apartment's ancient 60 amp fuse box is 208v
1
almost all japanese devices are 100v 50/60hz
1
120v to 240v transformer
1
the type g plug is the only plug type that has fuses because it uses 32a ring circuits instead of 10-20a radial circuits
1
1 of the advantages is high power with thin wires: for example european 230v 3x25a (4 or 5 10awg/6.0mm² wires) can carry up to 17250w
1
@ghz24 so what? that's still a useful fact
1
how big are the australian main fuses usually? are they 3x25a, 3x32a, 3x35a or 3x40a?
1
"zero wire" is likely a literal translation but the correct english word is "neutral wire"
1
i think those are old standards: the old american standard was 110/220v the old european standard was 220/380v
1
the schuko plug is better than the uk plug because it's just as safe & also unpolarized
1
@nedyalkotodorov4535 they have an universal power supply inside but it's weird that they don't say it on the outside
1
isn't the networking equipment 100-120v or 100-240v?
1
most computers made in the last 20 years and all computers made in the last 10 years are 100-240v 50/60hz
1
i think that can also cause grounded casings to have a 120v potential
1
@GH-oi2jf why are european ground wires insulated yellow and green?
