@thegodlyjohnson The objective of gun free zones is not "to stop bad guys".
Like the Gilroy shooting proved, a "gun free zone" works in the way that it allows the "good guys with guns" to zero in on the bad guys and take them out without the resulting chaos of FIRST having to figure out who the "good guys" are.
You are using a strawman argument.
Like during the days of the Wild West, the frontier towns were gun free zones, and everybody who broke that rule was immediately on the wrong side of the law, and easily ID'ed and zeroed in onto.
In anything, advocate a system of deputies.
These deputies would FIRST prove that they are adept, then receive a badge of ID, and THEN, and only THEN, would they be KNOWN as "good guys" (tonarriving cops) and identifiable as "good guys" by the general public.
Without a badge of authority, anybody can just arrive on the scene, proclaiming to be a "good guy".
That's logical, correct?
