With over 500,000,000 people in Europe, not even 2 potential nutcases? With that, you have practically defeated your own argument, which that each adult should be armed to fight criminals and freaks....what for, if most people are decent. Well, that is what I've been telling you all along. There is no need to arm ourselves, since most people are decent :-) Increased gun ownership will simply increase the risk of accidents...

What we are discussing though, is your personal fantasy to arm every able-bodied Norwegian man and woman, and turn Norway into some kind of 'Wild West', in the vague hope of making it even safer. WTF? Every possible statistic points to the exact opposite, which is 'more guns = more gun violence'. Aren't you happy that the freaks and crazies in your society find it almost impossible to get their hands on a gun? Unlike the USA. There are so many guns there, that crazies and freaks can get a gun, and then live out their fantasies. A criminal ALWAYS has the advantage, since it is the criminal who choses the time and place of attack. Armed citizens can only react to an action, NOT act preemptively.

None of my neighbors, colleagues at work, or anybody else I know has ever been attacked, raped by strangers, burgled, stolen from or 'had genitals cut off with dull blades'.... You are obviously paranoid, and easily manipulated into thinking that the statistically provable isolated cases of crime you read about and see on TV are actually a wide-spread phenomena, and that the we therefore ALL have to carry guns around to make the world a better place....ROTFL.... Tell me Kai, how often do you get robbed, mugged or molested every week to justify your hopelessly exaggerated paranoia?
