Criticism coming from an imperialist, no doubt...
2
The original "imperialism" is western.
2
All one needs is a map in order to plot who was encroaching on whom...
2
NATO expansion started in the 1990s. What "Russian invasions" are you referring to?
2
An imperialist, complaining about the effects of imperialism...

"They have just had a terrorist attack..." Hamas, just like every single "terrorist" organisation ever, at any point in history ever, in any geographical location ever, by any religion ever, are always an effect of oppression. The USA/collective West is "classifying" the terrorists they created themselves with own previous political actions, as terrorists... Terrorism/Freedom fighting (POV) is always an effect not a cause. If you live in the west, then you (personally), or your parents, grandparents or previous generations have never ever ever fought anybody your own leaders have not personally set you up against.

@shuathe2nd The leaders of free countries can also choose neutrality, so as not to allow their citizens to become "buck catchers" for outside powers. It is called "non-alignment", which doesn't set these countries up as staging areas for other powers, like NATO, the USA, or the EU, which all intend an indirect form of imperialism, which is "corporatist controlled." This is indirect rule of imperialist expansion via their global emperiums (not to be confused with historical "imperialism" which ended, and was "direct rule").

@shuathe2nd Yes, that was an effect of WW2, when the western Allies signed millions of people over to the yoke of communist oppression, as "thank you" to Moscow for taking the brunt of the fighting of Nazi Germany. The people living in Eastern Europe were betrayed by the USA, then GB, and France (in that order of global power) who put their own empires and interests first, at the expense of Eastern Europeans. What did Eastern Europeans expect? That Russian would fight and die to liberate them from the Nazis, only for Eastern Europeans to then choose the "USA/West" as "best buddies"?

@dimashevchenkoua Chechnya is officially a Russian Republic... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chechnya ...which tried to break away from Moscow. That was not a "Russian invasion", but the attempt by Russia to avoid secession. Same with Transnistria, which broke away from Moldavia, after Moldavia broke away from Moscow. Again, at least technically not a "Russian invasion", but support for the breakaway region which was majority pro-Russian. Moldavia was never invaded. Furthermore, none of these low-key wars and revolutionary activity had anything to do with independent sovereign countries like Poland joining NATO, against explicit promises by western countries that they would not expand NATO "an inch further east".
