  4. Robert Nolton That's fine by me. I've got nothing against guns or gun ownership. My point is that the theory of 'the good guy with a gun' is flawed. Most people don't stand by 24/7 like the Terminator in the movie, to protect their loved ones. They have to eat, take a sh*t, have a shower, go to work, they go to a party sometimes....or just happen to sleep like a log. In other words, I just hope for the sake of you and your family that the hypothetical crook (God forbid) will also make a 'bump' for you to hear, and that you will also woken up by that 'bump' to react in time.
