  2. No US President (incl. Obama) has managed to put a stop to the root cause of the militarization of US society. Because the violence escalated disproportionately after the state started a War on Drugs in 1971 (Nixon). Note, no other modern democracy has ever "declared" a "war" on "drugs", and therefore no other advanced democracy is fighting such a dumb cause, nor are they losing such a stupid "war".
