  1. Crime is a socio-economic problem, which is a full package. Not as simple as saying "poverty causes crime". Stating that rich people don't commit crimes, if surrounded by other rich people is BS though. The nature of the crime will simply change. So while you'll see less open crime like robbery in this case, you'll see more crimes like fraud or scams.
