So what's the problem? The way a person arrived does not affect whether a person needs international protection or not.

  14. @duncansmith7562  No, I don't don't, I go to Irealand how tourist with my passport, and then I applied for international protection because my country has a war, and now I recieve a status. I don't hide my passport. Other people do it, but sometimes people really lost their passport, country can't deport these people, because some of them really needed help and can't go return to their countries.

  16.  @duncansmith7562  I don't think it's "zero", some people really do arrive as asylum seekers, this happens when they write to the UN in their country and the UN issues them a visa and an invitation, but people don't do this often, because most often a person doesn't have time to do this and doesn't know how to do it, so people flee as tourists or illegally.

I don't know they are bad or no, but many of them really have bad broblems in their countries and they can't go there.

  27.  @duncansmith7562  People develop hatred towards immigrants because they are xenophobes, I understand this, I also don't like Muslim customs and religion, but from an economic point of view for the country and people, immigrants always do more good than harm, but people, because of their xenophobia, try to prove that immigrants only do harm, this is not fair and not right, my opinion. I am Ukrainian, but I am not against other races and nationalities, I think 90% of immigrants are good people. Who leave their bad countries. They will help to improve new contry which will take them.

  29.  @duncansmith7562  No, you don't understand why prices are high. Housing prices are high because there is little housing. And there is little housing because the state does everything to complicate and slow down its construction. It imposes bans on construction in many places, imposes high taxes on construction companies, takes away some housing for social housing and much more, it does everything so that new houses are practically not built. In other countries, houses are built very quickly and always if there is a shortage. Here, it is suppressed by the state because the state benefits more from housing prices.

  30.  @duncansmith7562  No, it's not true that housing prices are because of immigrants, there are still very few immigrants compared to the Irish, about 10%. This means that there would only be 10% more housing if you removed all the immigrants, you wouldn't notice the difference. It's the same as if there were 9 people per room instead of 10. If there were no immigrants, the prices would be the same because the government would do everything to ensure that there wasn't enough housing.

  31.  @duncansmith7562  I didn't go to Poland because I'm afraid that the war will reach there one day, and I also don't like the Polish attitude towards Ukrainian men, there were a couple of times they said that they might deport Ukrainian men so that they would fight, maybe it's just gossip, but I don't want to risk it. Although I liked Poland, I lived there for several years before the war, it's much easier to live there than in Ireland.

  34. You are confusing regular migration with refugee migration . You prepared for years, saved money, and knew the language of the country you were going to. You looked for housing and work there in advance. Now imagine how you would live in the country if you had to come there without preparation, without money and without the language. You would just be a homeless person. So that there are not many homeless people, the state has to help people integrate.

  36.  @luisvelez5695  I speak Russian and Ukrainian language, I don't know about USA, but in Ireland I can't find any work 6 months already, every job even for cleaning they write "English required B1 or higher" "perfect speaking English", they don't want people without English, because of this I don't work and live for free from social welfare . Also I can't find any room for myself, because all Irish people write me "do you work?", if I don't work they don't give me any room, because of this I live in Hotel. If Irish people don't like it, they should take every migrants without language! But they don't want! And then these people go on immigrant meetings, it's funny))

Many Irish people has HAP programme, Urgent accommodation, social housing, job seekers allowance and many other things, immigrants just get the same because it's write in international laws that refugee can't be discrimination and they should have all the same opportunity how citizens.
