  1. David you're in denial about Trump, it is his race to lose at this point. And since his followers will support him even if he murders people and bangs his daughter, it is pretty unlikely he will lose the primary.

  3. Anthony Serocco Still I think anyone with their ear to the ground should have seen this coming. I personally believed a Trump like figure would come around by 2024, the only thing that surprised me about the Trump phenomenon was how quickly things turned around.

  5. Patrick DaMao Well then you need to get out more, Trump is solely a phenomenon of the right. It's borne out by the numbers. If you are seeing parallels to Reagan democrats I agree, but that's because the problem is with you and not with the left. It comes from a serious resentment problem some white guys have, if you're falling for some modern equivalent of "welfare queens" or Willie Horton you're really beyond reaching.

  6. jsgdk Not really, Trump supporters are died in the wool Republicans and authoritarians, that is statistical fact. What you are doing is externalizing an internal struggle, you're projecting your own anti-liberal resentment onto Trump supporters. That said there isn't much difference from the anti-liberalism of many so-called liberals and what you find on Fox News.
