  3. ***** Also don't compare Daryl Davis to Dave Rubin. Rubin is the exact opposite. Daryl actually opposes these people, Rubin finds a third group that they can commiserate about together, and will do nothing to counter his guests message. Rubin even self censors to avoid upsetting his guests. I doubt Dave Rubin would ever interview an anti-semite, in part because that is the one thing he actually gets offended by, and because his show exists to legitimize the opinions of his anti-liberal guests. You might was well say Alan Combs is just like Daryl while you are at it. Rubin is an Alan Combs who doesn't even need a Hannity.

  5. ***** Most people have discussions, just like most people have four chambered hearts. The purpose of the discussion is important. If you're going to make a relativistic argument that this is all just personal perception you really can't say I'm incorrect about this. I however do believe in an objective reality that is observable, so your resorting to relativism just shows there is a weakness in your argument.

  6. ***** Actually Pakman routinely argues(politely) with the extremists he invites on. While he is courteous, he never pretends like they have any legitimacy. When Pakman interviews Brian Fischer, he actually confronts him about his extreme views rather than trying to get Fischer to talk about college kids are evil and oppressive and taking your freedom. Pakman asks questions which show Brian Fischer wants a society that is evil, oppressive and takes away your freedoms.  Pakman has also interviewed anti-semites and asked them how they felt about him being a jew. Rubin would do none of that. In fact a lot of the time he does the opposite You are comparing Daryl to Dave because you're trying to legitimize someone who works about two hours per week to be buddy buddy with people who think minorities are uppity and equate him with a guy who does the hard work of befriending people who hate him and thinks he's inferior. In part you are trying to legitimize your own attitude toward bigotry which is "It's not my problem so shut up about it." Just because Daryl does not get upset does not mean he is complacent like Rubin.
