  2. Ben Carson was not elected to HUD, Rick Perry was not elected to the EPA, they were appointed by Donald Trump who was not democratically elected President. Also technocracy is probably impossible and would only end up serving the interests of the elite.

  3. Alias Fakename So the head of the EPA should be an expert on environmental science, and not environmental economics, or the effects of pollution on human health. From that I infer that the EPA's objective should focused on things like ecology rather than the pursuit of human health through environmental policy or cost effective means of implementing it. And wouldn't knowledge of economics on the part of all politicians put their own expertise at odds with the head of the EPA?
