Actually Wheeler had a broadband internet company in the 1980's but the cable companies killed it since it required the cable companies to allow internet providers to use their service the same way dial up internet companies like AOL could use phone lines.  He's basically like a liberal Dick Cheney, holding a decades long grudge and using his first chance at power to deliver his terrible vengeance. The good part is unlike Dick Cheney he's not seeking to avenge his master Richard Nixon.
