  10. readonly pdf Actually it sounds like a lot of half measures that don't actually fix the problem. Except the one about not monopolizing medicine, but even there I'm not sure that you would really support going far enough. Stopping and reversing the monopolization of medicine requires far more than patent reform, it requires vigorous enforcement of anti-trust laws to break up oligopoly control of pharmaceutical and medical device industries.

Firstly the people who make up the free market are not the people, in fact it is the people who are having trouble getting health care. The people of the free market are consumers(and if you don't have enough money you are not a consumer) and capitalists, ie investors, share holders and executives. These investors, shareholders and executives exert a hugely disproportionate influence on how healthcare is run. Look at the epipen for a recent example. But hey, if you want to drastically change the rules under which businesses are incorporated to make it harder to concentrate wealth and power, now you're speaking my language.
