And to claim 18th century anti-federalists are in anyway tied to contemporary conservatives is laughable to say the least. The people who felt that banks were as dangerous as standing armies wouldn't want anything to do with the pro-corporate, pro-finance, pro-militarism conservatives of today. The free market might be the reason I checked this on my cell phone, but government regulation is the reason the lithium battery didn't catch fire when I did. It's also the reason I'm not hospitalized with food poisoning from the restaurant I had lunch at. If you don't understand how property rights are out of control you clearly don't know anything about modern capitalism. But to give you one example do you think Youtube's copyright and takedown system is fair? And no, conservatives do not support two parent households because they have been fighting same sex marriage and same sex adoption for decades.
