  1. Good point. That said fake news has done actual damage, like James O'keefe's ACORN video and the fake planned parenthood sting. Mostly however fake news is for people who are hateful and conspiratorial by nature, it didn't cost anyone the election or hoax the country into a bad decision. Not since the Iraq War anyway.

  2. I see what you mean, Pizzagate is fake news, and it's orwellian. However fake news has existed for decades, for example Alex Jones has been around for a long time.
