In terms of legal research and case law many paralegals and beginning lawyers could be replaced by AI, currently IBM is changing it's computer that won Jeopardy into an expert system to help doctors by going through the massive amounts of medical research generated every year. I don't see how the legal profession is radically different. As for actual trial lawyers, that won't happen until we become some kind of science fiction dystopia.
