Not really, celebrities only have value based on their image. They would have fired him if he was caught supporting ISIS. They would have fired him if he said all men were rapists. He isn't guaranteed a job as a celebrity if his name does not have broad appeal.

Free speech does not mean anyone has to like your opinion. Politicians have been booted out of office for things they have said. Does that mean elections were hurting their free speech? No. The fact is there are natural social consequences to just about anything you say, and so long as there is no government interference, threats of violence, or coercion then you have free speech not freedom from consequences.
