@AmirSatt Civil unrest and wars over the throne was not the undoing of the Eastern Roman Empire. It was the time perfect invasion of the islamists after their war with Persia and the constant invasions from Bulgars, Islamists, Mongols etc.

@globmonkey200716102 yep ,both sides were brutal, and it's insane to me how people can pretend like natives were saints or at least in the right in most of the Americas colonisations. It's literally tribalism which was at play since the dawn of humanity. It's just that so many decades have passed since we've seen major conflicts near our homes that we have forgotten or we choose to forget.

@enterurnamehere27 Historically speaking the natives were the ones attacking the colonisers in many cases. Search about the first city that was made by the colonisers. Completely destroyed by the natives. The only reason we come to believe that the Europeans were in most cases the bad guys is because the Europeans could just bring two canons and 5 men with guns and exterminate an entire hostile native tribe per se. The Europeans had the upper hand in terms of technological advancements and they won most of the times (not all of course though). Also that's the problem right there: "what they percieve as their land". Their land? You mean the land they stole by exterminating other tribes and the Europeans were so generous to allow them to coexist or even continue occupy most of the land? Don't forget that the Europeans were conquerors the same way natives were before they came. Also in many cases throughout the colonisation period you'll find out that Europeans had deals and treaties and bought land from natives but the natives didn't really have the same idea of what a land is, leading to trespassing etc on European land and then leading to wars and death.

@enterurnamehere27 Never said that Europeans were the good guys. I said it was generous of them from the beggining to allow them to hold on most of their land. Also yes it's exactly the same if not worse. The Aztecs for example was one of the largest native American tribes/empires. They had enslaved, exterminated , raped and cannibalised on hundreds of other tribes. They were hated so much that when the Spanish came ,many local tribes helped the Spanish in destroying the Aztecs. So it's definiitely not true that "natives" were more similar so that makes them destroying neighboring tribes better than colonising another continent. It's literally the same just on a smaller scale. Besides there were plenty of native American tribes that allied with the Europeans in many of their wars in the Americas. What I'm picking up by your logic is that "they were the same race or they were neighbors so that makes it better". No it doesn't lol. How is it better to cannibalise, rape, enslave and kill your neighbor than doing the same to someone who is far from you?

@SerafimShrekson They replace existing parties and become the status quo. Canada and the UK have the same electoral system as the Us. The Conservative party of Canada got consumed by a 3rd party called Reform. Same way in the UK the liberals were replaced by Labour in the early 20th century and it seems like the Tories will either be merged or consumed in the next few elections as well.

@OsmanOsmanHan Took back your land? North Macedonia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Thessaly, Epirus, Thrace, Syria, Lebanon, Judea, Iraq have to disagree with you. You literally lost more than half of your empire. You were only lucky enough that the Great powers were tired of war and chose to support you at the middle of the Greco-Turkish war which allowed you to protect the remaining lands of your crumbling empire. Extremely fortunate because if they continued with supporting Greece, Ankara would've fallen and with it the Ottoman empire.

@condedooku9750 You're right about the wars, although I don't see how the Us will evade a war in the next 20 years. As for "muh racism", black people had a far better quality of life in the 40s, 50s and 60s than in the 80s and later. The black community has been now ravaged by gang wars, crime, uneducated low lives and stds. All that mainly because of the deconstruction of the black family in the 70s and 80s and the skyrocketing of single mother homes.

The starvation was directly caused by the policies of the communist government. It's not like there was wide spread natural disaster that caused the starvation.

@falsename226 Yeah women and children are rutheless slave owners that needed to get killed. The rebels actually didn't target specific slave owners. They killed indiscriminately anyone who was white and only spared a few houses of poor white people. They killed white people not slave onwers. It's like saying "the soviet rebelion was justified and should be celebrated, they only killed their rich oppressors". Only in reality soviets killed many who were just wealthy (wealthy farmers etc), anyone who did not comply with the state owning every land. Anyone who was against them politically. They brutally murdered the entire family of the Tsar for no apparent reason (children and women). That's the harsh reality. Almost nothing in history is one sided.

@enterurnamehere27 I'd actually correct you on that one. There were plenty of brutal tribes and countries all over the world. North America wasn't an exception. It's mostly that the Europeans had already exterminated most if not all the very brutal ones until around the 1850s. So past that there were still many tribes that were borderline savages but not as much. EIther ways killing innocent people is a crime, the tribe of this video was not innocent so trying to claim that somehow it was irrational for the Us army to end the tribe is very idiotic.
