  1. Depends. Grappling types are better against skilled opponents and are definitely better in 1 on 1s but that's only in street fighting and real life situations. Why? Imagine getting dropped on hard concrete. Your ribs are borken your spine goes numb. Though in fights against multiple opponents striking is definitely necessary. The problem in these cases though is that if you don't drop them in 1-2 hits and they all come close to you, you're fucked.
