@s1gmap175 Your position is a logical paradox. Your claim states that anti-natalists are still alive because they find purpose within the idea of trying to reduce suffering. So if trying to reduce suffering is more purposeful than living life in suffering is you create a paradox. If you have sliver above average IQ you could've noticed it.

If you find non-existence better, why in the world are you still wandering in this mortal realm? Another thing is that you're proving their point. YOU don't enjoy life (although it seems like you're still enjoying it enough to not become non-existent) and you project that idea to the rest of the world. YOU believe that everyone has to be thinking the same way (or at least most people) sanctifying the fact that you at least have narcissistic tendencies. "We all make fun of poor people who have a soccer team worth of children". Nope that's a projection on your part just like the rest of your comment.

@scholaroftheworldalternatehist The phrase "rest in peace" is tied with Christianity and heaven. Unless you are a religious Christian and believe in heaven, then you cannot use that argument. And if you are a Christian and believe in heaven then you automatically can't be anti-natalist.

are there any studies not "conforming" to that "bias"? The studies' results make perfect logical sense and they don't seem to suffer from poor techniques.

@justdoit2521 So by your own admition, your instincts and fears give more meaning to your life, than your entire anti-natalist agenda is taking from life. That means that by instincts and fears alone, life is more worth to live than not to live. You can choose to end it all and many do so everyday. But you don't. Why? Because there are clearly things in life that are worth more than the things you claim life is not worth. In your case the character trait of cowardice is more overbearing that your anti-natalist values or nihilism. The common su**ide does not require any kind of bravery, you're not committing seppuku, it just requires you to not be an extreme coward or at least put your values above your character traits. I am replying to you because I find it amusing how willfully ignorant and smug people like you are.
