you're delusional if you think so. The mental clarity and stability alone are worth the effort. Let alone the entirety of the benefits. You're just lazy and weak. Now is the reward as good as it was 50 years ago? No. I'd much prefer a strong family from my early 20s with a few kids and a stable career. But modern luxuries, traveling and other modern amenities are reason enough to work on myself. Even if I don't get a good traditional wife (which hopefully I will), at least I'd have everything else sort out in my life.
