I love how him standing up to the people who oppress him and his speech is somehow being a miserable monster. The world is going spiral and if the true leaders of our time don't stand up to this oppression we'll just become modern slaves (if we already haven't become).
13
@Ttegegg what are you 10?
10
@MusicManLongford Sorry to break it to you but oppress is a verb which literally means "to crush or burden someone by abuse of power or authority". What Twitter did in that instance is oppress him and his free speech by abusing their power and the fact that they will see no legal consequences when they break their contract which they specifically say that they are a platform and not a publisher.
10
I can understand that you don't like the way he speaks but unhinged? The fact that you do not understand the problem with 3 big corporations controlling 95% of the information flow is insane to me.
8
What was his tweet? Why was he banned? His reaction is indeed harsh but it is not unnecessary at all. If you think that corporations shouldn't have more power than the POTUS of course.
3
@keithohanlon6191 You have no idea what you are talking about. He had a great life and he had actually had his house in order. His lectures have helped millions of people and assuming that they haven't is just ignorant. Besides that he slipped into medication addiction due to many horrors that occured in a very short period of time. His daughter had very serious depression and almost died from it and his wife was diagnosed with the deadly stage of cancer. What he went through none of us could ever imagine going through. And I bet that most of us would never surpass these difficulties. So maybe you should stop judging a successful clinical psychologist ,a professor and a writer that has helped millions of people and start addressing what he is talking about and why he has helped positively millions of people including me.
3
@esharp48 He had an influential account that got banned without violating any TOS. The fact that you do not understand how serious of a matter it is that corporations have the power to silence the president of the united states along with many influencers purely on political opinion is not just concerning but utterly insane. And I bet you are from the same people that are against big corporations. Yet you clearly support them in removing important people's reach just for their political stances.
2
@zol5924 Can you give me a time stamp of him crying in this video? Did you even understand what he said in the video?
2
@KytexEdits That's not the case whatsoever. That was a great conversation where both sides laid their questions and arguments. The fact that JP got passionate (Destiny too in many parts) means that both were engaging in the conversation in good faith. JP definitely wasn't going for a gotcha and more so going for questioning and mapping Destiny's stances.

@MotherBra1n It's not a contract but to entertain your response. It's called section 230. It allows for platforms to not be liable for taking down content that violates rules or be held liable for content that violates actual laws. Of course that intales that they keep their role as a platform. Removing someone without a clear reasoning that is backed up by their TOS is basically breaking the contract of them being a platform. They are a publisher by doing that and not a platform. Hence any protection from 230 should be rettracted. Also pride was ,is and will always be a sin by any objective measure. Do you even know what pride is?
2
@magicponyrides What rules? I want you to copy paste the exact rule that he violated and quote his tweet on it.
2
@magicponyrides Nope that's literally illegal. Under section 230 they give protections to social media companies under the fact that they are platforms and not publishers. Meaning that they are allowed to moderate content and information under certain rules but they cannot remove and ban whoever they want for whatever reason. What you just described is a publisher and it is what these companies have been doing for some years. But of course the social media money is too much for the congress or senate to actually do something about it.
2
@keithohanlon6191 I read your 3 first comments. And I know nothing about Peterson? This man has changed my life radically. I have listened to more than 150 hours of his lectures and I am planning to read both of his books. I am pretty sure I know more about him than you do. And I know for sure that he has helped many and many people.
2
@CuriousCattery the few men that led society decided to take the step and guarantee their rule through including the followers of society to decide who takes power aka women. The fault of men was allowing it to happen.
2
@Circee11 Yet those "women" not crying are also not marrying and having children. Otherwise why is the countryside being deserted? Why do they have low birth rates (just a little better than the urban areas)? The countryside used to boast with their high birth rates and nowadays I doubt most places even reach the replacement level.

Secular or modern Christian marriage is not much better. Women that are in marriages that don't hold the patriarchal structure are just as bad. And majority of modern marriages are not patriarchal. It's not rule by the father.
2
@monkey6207 Tyrants don't love their subjects. Especially to the point of sacrificing themselves for them. So by definition a Christian patriarchal marriage cannot be "tyrannical" since the husband ought to love his wife like Christ loves us.

@esharp48 Funny how you pulled that " This includes targeted misgendering or deadnaming of transgender individuals. " out of your ass. I just read the exact part that you started naming and nowhere does it say that. Are you okay my guy? Why are you lying on the internet? Don't you understand that a simple google search can expose you? Having said that even if that was in Twitter rules (which is not) , Twitter is wilfully ignoring some rules and enforcing other rules or even non-rules. I can literally go to Twitter right now and find accounts wishing death to the supreme court, Trump and various republican members of the caucus which are not banned. I can also find accounts from the Taliban and the president of Iran funnily enough. Not only that but there's a large amount of cp circulating through Twitter which does not get banned. There are also open discussions (from primarily LGBT people) that call for the humanisation of MAPs aka pedophiles.
1
@vetlelg As far as this video goes how is this any of what he said emotion based? Twitter clearly banned him for his opinion and he was right slandering it. As for transitioning surgery. For most of human history mutilating your healthy parts was considered a mental illness. People with that mental illness were instead directed to therapy and meds and not actual body mutilation. Why? Because if they do grow out of it (which many do over time) they won't have irrepairably destroyed their body. Why is gender dysphoria treated differently? That matter used to be purely psychological up until people started making it political. We have allowed these mentally insane people to run our platforms and our government. What he says right now would be considered common sense 10 years ago. Why is it that we have "progressed" so much that the insanity of 10 years ago is the norm?
1
These crimes in most of history would be worthy of a great purge and mass execution of these individuals. This is disgusting and unfathomable. The fact that we as a society allow for this evil to exist already foreshadowing the demise of our once great civilization. Hopefully I am wrong. But I can't see it otherwise.
1
@truthaus6840 Equality is a false doctrine. How can one be equal to another, if that one is reliant on that another to enforce said "equal rights". Equality is an illusion that has no bear in reality.

3rd wave feminism is only the logical and inevitable continuation of feminism. 2nd wave feminism was the one that made the worse changes aka women's emancipation and sexual liberation. 1st wave feminism might seem harmless since all it did was give women political power equal to the men. But it always results in 2nd wave feminism and then 3rd wave feminism. So instead of chopping off the leaves (3rd wave feminism), or the branches (2nd wave feminism) how about we root out the entire pest?
1
@devilex121 False. Twitter is protected by laws put in place in which they agree that they are a platform and that they will not be censoring information that doesn't violate their TOS. JP never violated their TOS he got banned. That's a clear breach of the act ,in which plenty of platforms like Facebook and Youtube have breached. If these corporations didn't hold the Us politicians from their balls they would get punished.

@jmiquelmb Rape constitutes less than 1% of abortion and that's only reported on the clinics. Meaning that actual rape victims that have abortions are at 0,01% of abortions. The number is so low that it is literally irrelevant to the entire abortion argument. Now teenagers that have abortions due to rape are cases that me and you can probably count on our fingers every year. But then again you speak about being a hypocrite yet you can't see the hypocrisy in your own arguments.
1
@jmiquelmb Oh ok you said that "he tells you that you shouldn't be gay". Please I implore you to delete your baseless slandering comments. Nowhere does he even suggests that homosexuality is a sin or that it should be adversed by society. He has podcasts that he talks about homosexual marriage and adoption in primarily a positive aspect. Then again why do I expect from delusional slanders to actually make a point on his actual opinions.
1
@MotherBra1n What rule did he break? I just checked TOS to disprove a rettard that was making shit up. He did not break any rules of Twitter . They just banned him just like Trump. If Twitter wasn't banning right wing voices ,can you explain to me why I have easy access to Tweets calling for the death of supreme court justices, senators and congressmen along with doxxing them. Or why are there entities like the Taliban allowed on the app, or the president of Iran?
1
@Goof_Balling Staying silent as your rights are taken away is the exact reason why autocracies exist.
1
@prez90 So having your wife dying from cancer and your daughter dying from depression and anxiety and slipping into anti-depressant addiction is like doing crack? This man has gone through more than any of us could imagine. And you are out here spreading hate. You are such a pathetic human being . I hope you find redemption from your blind hatred one day.
1
@warbwashington5626 I hope you were being sarcastic.
1
You went into useful college though. There is a huge difference. Useful degrees is what people who go into college need. I'd say 50-60% of people going into college should've never pursued it.
1
Important question. Will it be translated in Greece ? Because I would love to buy this book.
1
@MDO_666 We will go back, the issue is how bloody it will be. How much will our civilizations degrade before we reach said point. Unlike popular belief, similar feminist and degenerate ages have been common in past civilizations. They usually preceded the downfall of said civilizations.
1
@MDO_666 Yes. Although Rome later revived through Christendom and lasted for another 1000 years under the East Roman Empire.
1
@MDO_666 Roman empire. Ancient Greek states. Islamic empires after the golden age. Babylonian empire. Israel. Canaan. Are some off the top of my head.

@stillstymied Ellen was allowed to mutilate their body because we live in a clown world where mental illness is treated as consent and the norm and logical thinking is treated as disgusting. And although I agree with allowing these adults to do what they want, them putting out on the internet for attention which can influence young teenagers is what is truly disgusting. Not only that but these mentally derranged people have politicised gender dysphoria. Hence JP taking a stance against this political madness.
1
@monkey6207 Men are to blame for allowing feminism to take root into our societies. Women should have never gotten political power and the patriarchy should have been preserved. Now the patriarchal structure of the family has been destroyed and we reap what we've sown.
1
Social media and the internet only accelerated an alreaday ongoing phenomenon. All of this can be traced back to 1st wave feminism and the main issues arose as feminism entered its inevitable 2nd phase in the 60s (women's emancipation and sexual liberation). By the time 2nd wave feminism was done, the system had become gynocentric, the family had been destroyed and general society subverted.
1
@monkey6207 "All he has to do is claim complete responsibility to have authority and be ready to die for his wife". If he just says "I love you" but doesn't actually love her, then the judgement will befall upon him. If he claims authority without taking responsibility then he is lacking as a husband and a man. A leader is responsible for the decisions.
