  1. Economics and working hours do not explain low birth rates. Poor countries have high birth rates. High working hour countries like Mexico have high birth rates. It has nothing to do with economics and working hours. However, economics usually correlate with modernism. What do I mean by that? Family values, religious values and priorities change when you are a modernist and that's most people in modernist countries. Which directly explains the low birth rates. When countries started entering their decadence period is when they started being modern societies with lack of strong values and social cohesion. Decadence is the highest than ever before causing incredibly low birth rates.
