@beaubradley9539 Women could own property. Women could go to school and university. Women could have a profession. I don't know where you got any of that from? There were female only and mixed universities. There were career women (although very few) and a lot of women did own property prior to marrying and transferring it to the husband's authority. The main difference between then and now was the family structure which used to be patriarchal. And yet somehow it worked far better than it does now. There's a reason why most 1st and 2nd wave feminists proclaimed that the aim of feminism was to destroy the family structure of the West, which they achieved. They were mostly despised by the average woman. The suffragettes were the minority which managed to win because of simps in the government and in power.

@ne_alexa Women could divorce in some cases of adultery and DA. Women could 100% work and have money and have property. The only difference is that once they married all those "rights" went to their husband. Unmarried women could 100% do all of these.

I disagree. We had similar issues at the end of the decadence periods of empires. Those periods were just before the collapse btw. They had high levels of degeneracy, low birth rates, lack of faith and religion, weakness, women's empowerment etc
