@Ruffington_Roast It's not "child" if you're 15-16. Your definitional not a child. There is a reason why most 1st world countries including most of the Us has the age of consent at 15-16 and not 18. The majority of the world understands that you are not a kid at 16 or 17 to make a decision of intercourse or marriage. Child marriage which means 13 and under is illegal in all 1st world countries. However post-pubescent teens are of age to consent in most countries.

@DrakeIsSerious Again you seem to not understand that the "we" is probably you in a country that not only is it legal. But it has been seen age of consent laws existed. Can you point to me to 10 1st world countries that have the age of consent at 18? I'll wait. As for T surgery. It is illegal for minors in almost all countries. It was legal in a select few European ones and some Us states. Now the EU countries have banned it and so most Us states. Same with HRT and puberty blockers for minors. They're starting to get banned in most countries that were legal.

@Ruffington_Roast In many European countries 16 year olds can smoke and can drink alcohol legally. We give 16 year olds the ability to drive a car. In some European countries 16-17 year olds can vote. In many countries they can join the military. In my country alcohol and tobacco is only illegal to be sold to minors. Meaning that my father can buy a vodka bottle and pour a drink for me legally. Same with tobacco. But even then we drink as early as 14-15 and we're just fine. Only the Us is so insane as to have the age to drink alcohol at 21. Absolute insanity.

@Ruffington_Roast The reason the Us doesn't until 21 is because you had a precedent where feminist Baptist Christians wanted to shut down alcohol establishments and put in law an alcohol ban that was an utter failure. Then when they rolled it back they compromised at 21. The reality of the situation is that most of the developed world doesn't agree with you. On both alcohol and age of consent. In fact on the age of consent even your own country mostly disagrees with you. Explain that silly billy.
