  1. He is talking about social security not retirement and he's 100% right. But sure if you want to pay for random boomers that didn't save enough money to retire early than that's your prerogative.

  2. That's not the point he's making. Us young people shouldn't be paying for random old people so they can retire at 65. If you have the money/family support to retire at 65 do it. Pewdiepie retired in his 30s. But I refuse to become a paypig for all the boomers that destroyed the birth rate and the economy because they wanted to virtue signal. That's the entire point of the birth rate argument btw. If we have more retirees than people working, the system will collapse. That's what's happening in Japan. Bulgaria, Italy, Greece etc.

  3. That's not the point he's making, If you got money to retire, go ahead. But putting the burden on the workforce because you want to retire early is an unsustainable thing to do with this economic trajectory and birth rates.

  4.  @kueapel911  Even if it's optional it's an issue. No one should be paying taxes for other people to retire. If you have saved up or put in investments for retirement then you can retire from whatever age you desire.
