It was alright at best. It has many flaws and a lot of retcons. And there is 100% the message in it.

@DonTokoroten We don't need to hear "THE MESSAGE" to know where to find it. Just one look at this show and you find out it is filled with it. At this point if you're aware of the message, you can catch it pretty easily.

@user-qb6ze6di8k The creator of the games destroyed the games with the message and his agendas. Obviously he would love that sh*tfest. It's just a bit above average, hence why people jumped on its lap to d*ckride it. Fallout is arguably a lot worse though.

@HaggyGT The only nut job here is you. It's like taking the lord of the rings trilogy and removing the entire plot of the second book and replacing it with something else. We want the plot of the show to be consistent with the plot of the games. How hard is that to do?

@fullMetaLxMantis ? So now if we dislike garbage it's somehow "hurtful"? Wow

@flameshana9 You're talking about exceptions trying to erase the rule. You're part of this problem whether you understand it or not. Masculine and feminine traits compliment each other and it just so happens that masculine traits are natural for the vast majority of men and feminine traits are natural for the vast majority of women.

@Maggbba I get it if you say it's unnoticeable when they insert random weak black men and random boss girls. But when they literally put a transgender inside it, I am pretty sure it becomes noticeable enough. Never mind the fact that almost all male characters are incompetent trash and that they changed the entire reason for "Fall Out" to happen.

@bonaz11 The message particularly is only a result of the decadent society we live in. The cult-like ideologies like feminism are definitely everywhere. Down to the air we breath. The message is less pronounced but it's getting there.

@justlivin2499 And? I don't really care about his situation as much as I care about his content. I might not always agree with him but generally he gives it raw and is honest of his thoughts on things.

I totally disagree although you raise a couple good points , I personally enjoyed watching the Hobbit trilogy more than the LOTR trilogy. I can also admit that by any objective standard the LOTR movies were better, it's just that the Hobbit to me was a lot more enjoyable due to the fact that it depicts a true adventure story.

no you can't sadly. And even if you could, this garbage wouldn't qualify.

@juliandavis9711 A lot. From facial structure to body type it doesn't resemble the actual Ellie at all. And on top of that the actor for Ellie is ugly.
1
@peytonalexander5300 "shooting zombies for 60 minutes every week". They literally showed no zombies after episode 5 what are you on about? As for the excuse "they couldn't adapt it all". Episode 3 and episode 7 were fillers that didn't need to exist. So yes they did have time, they just decided to spend it on meaningless stories instead of more world expansion, action and main character development.

@justlivin2499 100/100 points. You hit every name in the list. Good job!

@owenchafer1083 I don't know if it was the acting or the script. But her character somewhat deviated from the original one. And yes the casting in terms of appearance is terrible. It doesn't bring even remotely the same feels as watching Ellie in the game.
1
@abstractjwl806 Welp, if you played the game you'd be far more annoyed. Ellie's character is extremely likeable in the game and she is also pretty cute and good to look at.

Japanese animation is far overshadowing anything the West tries to push out nowadays. The golden days of Western animation are far behind it seems. And for a right reason.

@benevolentconcepts I am 21, am waiting till marriage since I am very religious, have plenty of friends I go out with frequently from my uni, from my old high school, from my extended family, from family friends, from my gym, etc etc. But even if you were right on each one of your points, you're making a big logical fallacy called appeal to authority. Any other assumptions or ad hominem attacks?

@fernandogimenez7520 None of what you described is capitalism. China is corporatism and the same goes for Blackrock and Vanguard. When the government bails out and funds mega corporations, I am pretty sure we can't call it capitalism anymore.

@Maggbba Weak as in character and let's be honest, most male characters were incompetent and there is no argument in that. Also I can throw the shuttle agendas being inserted and say "I am not bothered by it" but when you accept it as normal is when they will have succeeded in brainwashing you. All in all I'd give it 5.5/10 maybe 6/10 at best. It's not awful but it doesn't deserve all this hype and praise.
