@bakters First of, France was not even close to being the top country in the world in the middle ages. In fact the country was generally weak and even Paris was conquered by raiders and Vikings. China, Byzantium, the Ottomans, the Huns etc were far stronger. In fact, no the ones that invented Romance were definitely not the top males. Maybe the most educated ones, but education didn't hold much value back then. What did was status, wealth and power. Education sometimes coincided with wealth but the others didn't usually line up. Also when did he try to convince men to go to therapy? Seems like A level of coping coming from your side to discredit what he was saying.

It's regardless the penalty in most cases. Men in general have a far stronger sense of duty and responsibility than women. There is a reason why treason was marked by male leaders of every society prior as the highest of crimes.

@timgibney5590 Welp since you weren't married and you didn't have children together, I can't really argue with you on your decision. You did well by leaving since you didn't burden anyone but yourself with that decision.

@timgibney5590 Men only break up with a woman if she cheats or she does something insanely f*cked up that severely breaks the "oath" they made when committing to them. Yes men do love idealistically and women do love conditionally. If said conditions are not met she will stop loving you. I have yet to find a man who filed for divorced for other than those two reasons btw.

@timgibney5590 Couldn't you just convey that to her? You could just easily tell her that I want other women sexually ,so I want it open on my end. If she refused then go ahead and leave, if she accepted it I wouldn't see a problem with staying. If you were married to her and had children with her and left because you "felt" unsatisfied in bed then sorry but this is beyond sh*tty and egotistical.
