Maybe you should read some economics instead of swalloing now this propaganda? If the server or bartender doesn't make the actual minimum wage of of tips then they will get paid more in order to reach the actual minimum wage. But in most of the cases they make increasingly more including in this case where she made 720 which is 12 per hour. The minimum wage in Texas is 8 per hour btw. So she is just plainly lying because if you look at it closely she made 700 of of tips, 150 of of employer and then paid 130 in Taxes so in the last paycheck she gets the employer pay and the tax deductions .

@tungvudang9414 In the richest countries in Europe there is 0 actual minimum wage. Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, Austria, Cyprus. The tipping system also is not purged at all in non-failing countries of the EU.

If you actually see the report she is showing she made 700 dollars of of tips in one week. Added to the 150 they paid her from their employers that amounts to 850 dollars. Minus the 130 for taxes, medicare etc she made 720 dollars in one week working as a bartender. Thats 12 dollars per hour which is a very good salary for a good job so imagine how good of a salary that is for a bartender.

Raising the minimum wage federally would kill of approximately 6 million jobs, destroy inflation, drive off small businesses and actually make 0 difference on the salary of bartenders and servers. And if you actually didn't consume all this propaganda without making any research then you would know that this woman was paid 720 dollars clean in one week. Second of Iceland and all the others I mentioned have a more Capitatlistic economy than the Us hence the 0 minimum wage. These countries know that market restrictions do nothing but destroy jobs and force companies to replace humans with robots. But you still seem to think that you should raise the minimum wage in America that has been projected to displace around 6 million jobs permanently. @tungvudang9414 Really because in Greece and Italy it is at least and I know that by first hand experience since I live in Greece and have been in Italy. And no it's not only because of unions. It's also because a business who doesn't pay livable wages their employees cannot survive since no one will take on the job. You can also negotiate your salary yourself as every sensible employee. Despite that in a good working free market salaries always tend to be high in any proffession you seek. All those countries I mentioned have a freer market than the Us.

Minimum wage on its own is an economic disaster , especially when it is applied like the Democrats want in the Us. Despite that why no push for better unions that will help everyone instead of more market restrictions that will eliminate millions of jobs and small businesses? Why not try freeing your market instead of restricting it more like every recent president has done with the exception of Trump?

@tungvudang9414 Actually that's incredibly untrue. The free market works in a way where the company can't actually do whatever it wants. In the Us actually in states like Texas and Florida the working man has it very good. How come that only in states with high minimum wage, market regulation and high taxation it is that multi billion dollar companies have a field day? California, NY, Washington and Washington DC, Michigan etc. If the market is restricted and with policies like the minimum wage then large companies can easily take out of the competition smaller companies. It's just the way it is with free markets and mixed economies. For example if you actually did some research you would know that this video is deceiving leftist propaganda because her entire salary for the week was 850 reduced by 130 from taxes , healthcare etc. It was 720. So even though her employer wrote a 150 dollar check she made through tipping 700 dollars. If unions were in place there would be nothing to negotiate here because 850 is a very good salary for a bar tender in Texas. Unions are a lot better than minimum wage because at least they negotiate on only certain situations while minimum wage has no discrimination over the different types of salary payment, resulting in many small businesses closing down and many jobs being replaced with robots. Edit: And even without unions, no minimum or a small minimum wage is a ton better than high minimum wage.
