In Europe there are also ID requirements in almost every single country. Also mail in ballots are banned in all but 7 countries. And in contrast to the Us , you need to show ID photographic evidence in order to get a mail in ballot and you also have to ask for the ballot to be given to you .

@twalrus9833 Well I would agree but a different change. The Us is divided in states that have their own sovereignty , by abolishing the electoral college and making it a direct democracy will disarm the state power and give more power to the federation which is not what Us constitution is about neither what the founding fathers wanted. The country should be statist and by abolishing the electoral college I wouldn't blame the Republican states of seceding the republic. My point is that if the electoral college needs improvement it is towards more state power and less popular vote power. In that way the Republic will become more statist and in my opinion it will work a lot better since it wouldn't be 4 states that decide the elections.

@pavango3812 If you can't get an ID then you shouldn't be voting. It's simple as that. If you can't go get an ID you are either a criminal or an illegal immigrant which is still a criminal. If you believe that people who are uncapable of getting an ID should vote then you are utterly delusional. If you can find me one first world country without mandatory ID in their elections then I will give you just a little credit. But let me warn you (there are none). In most European countries even mail in ballots are totally banned yet all these countries are 10 times more Democratic than the Us. How is it that securing that people who vote are actually eligible to vote and are actually who they say they are voter suppression? In the Us the voting laws should be 100 times more strict since more than 15 million illegal immigrants live in the Us and since anyone can just hop in through the border into your country. By saying that voter IDs is voter suppression is just like saying "I would like for my Democrat voter base which came through the borders just a few days ago to have the right to vote". Because if you don't have ID these people can just go to the voting stations and vote. Voter fraud used to be minimal but after the thousands of changes in law in the 2020 election voter fraud has been proven to easily overturn elections. Just look at your last election which was completely rigged. The fact that you want to push for rigged elections just because its your side winning is disgusting.

@TheBoyar Yep here in my country you are being checked of a list and you have to provide ID. Also you can't vote through mail in ballot and you have to vote in your birth county where you have been registered.
