Actually the casualties have been extremely low for 1 month of full on warfare in a very dense area.

@gunh4129 I am talking about total casualties on the Palestinian side which is around 11k atm. Less than 0.1% of Gaza's population.

@peterjensen3076 Palestinians have been given their land 5 times in the past and they rejected the offer and went onto full out war. The first time unironically was in 1948 with the partition. West Bank was given to Jordan, Northern Territories to Lebanon and Gaza to Egypt. They didn't accept it and they lost and Israel only captured minimal territories. It has happened 4 times since. 2 times it was a peace deal with a two-state solution.

@RePhantomz Then you didn't read up much about the Vietnam war if you think the Us "failed" to subjugate them. The could never fully invade North Vietnam because that would mean attacking the Chinese supply lines and starting a Chino-American war. Hence why the point from the start was providing South Vietnam with enough support to keep afloat. Militarily speaking the Us utterly destroyed the Vietkongs, casualties alone can attest to this. Even with high level Chinese training and constant supplying they were getting destroyed by the Us and allied army. In this particular case, the tunnels are in an incredibly small area of land. Once the land above ground is conquered the tunnels will be discovered and destroyed. In fact destroying ISIS and the Caliphate was a far harder goal to accomplish than destroying Hamas.

@mohamedtchkmakjdi6812 The 150 vehicles are not necessarily destroyed. Many of them were abandoned and most of the destroyed ones were destroyed after being abandoned. Yes there have not been many casualties in the side of Israel that is indeed true.

@gkagara Saudi Arabia will never do so. Most of their oil exports are to supporters of Israel or countries with neutral stances like India. They are already desperate with the outplay that Russia did after getting sanctioned which has caused many of Saudi buyers to turn to cheap Russian oil, they won't bother to do any embargo to any country in Europe.

@gkagara The middle east is no longer controlling all of oil exports to the west. For the Us it's not even in the top 2 exporters. For EU, Russia was by far the main factor. Saudi has no leverage there.

@gkagara None of these countries have any major influence. Russia had and they crippled EU as much as they could but it's still standing.

I doubt they've had much casualties thus far. They haven't done any extremely aggressive or risky operations. Whenever they are at a risky position they abandon their vehicles and retreat hence why they have lost so many vehicles, to reduce casualties. Netanyahu has his nation full support in ending the war but after this he will never set foot as a prime minister again.

@johannuys7914 The arabs had bigger armies, better geography and more dispensible man power. Israel was only better in technology and military supplies and they still won all of the wars.

@gethomas02 We can say the same about every war. "If not for the Chinese resupply of Vietnam, they were done for", "If not for the Chinese resupply of North Korea they were done for", "If not for the USSR resupply of the PRC they were done for".

@SMDOP Really? Because I've heard them multiple times claiming to want the eradication of the Jews and the Jewish state. That quote 100% indicates the extermination of the Jews. But let me spin it a little. If I said, we Orthodox Christians should exterminate the islamic occupation in Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq, Egypt and make those countries Christian again, would you take it as "extermination of an ethnicity"?

@comradekenobi6908 Take huge casualties from what? Less armed, less trained forces that they outnumber 15 to 1? Thus far they've preceded with caution and have suffered minimal casualties.

@comradekenobi6908 More like coping. And undertrained and underarmed army that is 1:15 against the opponent and has worse commanders and genderals and is trapped inside a small landlocked area has close to 0 chances of winning the war. That's just the reality of it.

@braveheart4603 Afghanistan is a terrible comparison. The Taliban may have not been completely defeated by they were crippled and the only reason for surviving and still fighting is because of vast mountainous areas where they could hide. There is no hiding here. It's a 5x25 strip of land. ISIS and the Caliphate were in vast areas and were stumped within a few weeks of the announcement that Trump did where he said he will destroy ISIS.
