  11.  @Ashiqcool they weren’t thrown out of their houses unless they were attacking Jews. Many of them also came from Jordan when they were expelled for trying to overthrow the government. If you attack people you take the risk of being attacked in return and that can have catastrophic consequences. Thus it has been for the Palestinian Arabs.

  17.  @Finalboss619 some Israelis want that but not all of them. Some of them probably want security and to stop being attacked rather than to have the Palestinians displaced. Hamas attacked Israel. That’s having some pretty dire consequences for the Palestinians and one of those consequences might be a loss of territory to push Palestinians away from the Israeli border. Doesn’t necessarily mean there will be Israeli settlers.

  30.  @sa-nn1ny we haven’t been in a war since WW2 but we did defeat the North Koreans and we stopped the Chinese at the 38th parallel, we defeated the NVA and the Vietcong in Vietnam, defeated Iraq and drove the Taliban out of Afghanistan for twenty years. Political decisions aren’t military defeats. Once the American public saw what war looked like they got squeamishly anti war. Sometimes 😂

  36.  @markjackson1989 as I pointed out we defeated the military entities completely. That’s winning dozens of battles and killing more of them than they did of us. We could return to any of those countries and conduct large scale military operations and there wouldn’t be a thing they could do about it. The withdrawals from any of the military conflicts we’ve been in for the last 60 years or so have been political decisions because the people in office didn’t want to lose the next election. And probably didn’t want to get into a nuclear confrontation with the Soviet Union.
