It doesn't help that our Mango Mussolini has at least 3 personalities. One is the responsible one, seldom seen, when the staff forces him to read from the teleprompter and he's obviously sulking about being forced to sound responsible. Another is the nonsense he says on FOXed Noise. Yet another is the different nonsense he says on Twitter. Occasionally two of those personalities will agree with each other. So when you encounter people partying like it's 1999, and they screech that it's not even as bad as the regular flu, and they go on to screech that you're a libtard sheeple too, you know where it's coming from.
6
Ironically, all the gun-waving "2A is the solution to government overreach" types who spent 8 years screeching about "dictator Obama", wearing camo, stocking up on ammo, etc won't have a single bad thing to say when someone from the same ethnographic segment as them genuinely seizes power and disregards the rule of law. By threatening violence if an obvious traitor is removed from power, that segment is proving worse than useless just now. If they try anything, make sure they have their day - in court.

After a run-in last week with one of those anti-mask whackjobs (she insisted she was exempt, then went on to claim it's "smart" not to wear one) I'm shopping for another supermarket. One that will kick out folks who refuse to mask up.
6
@alexmipego Trump is so obviously guilty, and so afraid of evidence getting out, that this is sort of like letting OJ keep the bloody gloves in his safe while he gets at most a parking ticket for the murder gig. Sorry, that dumb fcker needs to face the music.
6
Crazy lady, don't worry about your roots .. the undertaker will fix that with some spray paint.

Is Ben Shapiro on T-blockers or something? Looks like a razor has never touched their face, and their voice hasn't dropped all the way.

@corneliussqualls1544 We are on the same page. So far he's violated the following international laws: a) the 1947 UN-US Treaty, when he wouldn't issue a visa to an Iranian diplomat who wanted to come to the UN; b) the Geneva Convention, when he let Gallagher go despite mountains of evidence of his war crimes; c) the Geneva Convention, when he ordered the assassination of both Soleimani & Shahlai without provocation or evidence, and in other nations' territory without their knowledge or permission; d) the IAA and Hague 33, when he separated families at the border and detained them without due process as refugees.

Never realized how much I missed Baghdad Bob! This one is even funnier because he takes himself more seriously.

Trump will continue to get much, much worse. By now everyone must have noticed his process of lobbying a lot of semi-contrarian test spaghetti at the wall ahead of any major thing, then later flipping to some other direction that was hidden in the tangle of pasta. Some of the themes he's crowd-tested (mostly on his base) include remaining in power indefinitely, charging members of the impeachment inquiry with treason, charging witnesses with treason, etc. Given enough time in office, he will be using Pastor Niemoller's words as a script to follow. No doubt he's noticed that locking up more than 100,000 Hispanic folks wasn't generated any significant domestic blowback .. and that too was a test. Next up are other minorities.
5
Wondering if Ben Shapiro is on T-blockers .. their voice hasn't really dropped (at age 35!) and it looks like their face has never known a razor. What gives?
5
Trump's defenders (like Hannity) know very well that when push comes to shove, Trump will shove them down under the bus without the slightest hesitation. He would drown his own kids to keep himself afloat. Trump's defenders have got to be getting a little itchy, what with Moscow Mitch announcing that he hasn't got the votes to prevent witnesses from testifying.
5
Why yes. In fact, they're so triggerable that just suggesting that other holidays exist will make them shriek that you're "waging a war on Christians"!
5
Republican have long wanted to get rid of the Department of Labor regulations for breaks and lunches.
4
And now Zucc is in on the ground floor of the US version of China's social credit system :( Hope y'all deleted your Wastebook accounts already.
4
Did Trump perhaps tell FOXed Noise to deliver this line? After all, Hannity is part of the channel between Trump and FOXed. Trump has been using them as a letter drop (so to speak) to present opinions as news.
4
@debbiedoodiedandi Ah, yes. They deride cancel culture, but then they're the first to throw their nice Keurig machines in the dumpster over Keurig pulling its ads from Hannity's propaganda show.
4
I take comfort in knowing that Nuremburg rallies are inevitably followed by Nuremburg trials, or trials at the Hague.
4
Irony is not just a lost book to Moscow Mitch, but probably a burned and buried book as well. Ditto for most Republicans.
4
@cloudstreets1396 To add - no system is better than the people running it, and a lot of the Republicans in office now are crooks.
4
No one wants people to die. Inf act, most of us are actively trying to keep some psychotic politicians from sacrificing hardworking people to the virus.
4
@linuxrobotgeek When you realize that right wingers are the same ones undermining any attempt to focus on healthcare and a better system for all, let me know.
4
He looks painfully stupid. I suppose that comforts some people. /shudder/
4
Bill Voss With the failure of the US to adequately test, that will be the unfortunate result all across the country, even in places where the medical systems are not overwhelmed.
4
We are now learning that Trump's sole reason for removing the decorated ambassador Yovanovich was that she was good at fighting corruption, and Ghoulini (working with Parnas & Fruman) was trying to get some backchannel American money in charge of Ukraine's fossil fuel assets. That's corruption. Trump is not a good liar. His excuses are transparent.
4
Herman Cain doesn't have to worry about wearing a mask anymore. Which of those fools is next?
4
Seeing this made me want to go hunt for some Obama-era video interview in which she complains about executive overreach ..
4
Trump's all-too-predictable response has been to push for increased militarization of the police, and to authorize use of lethal force at the southern border. Thin-skinned wannabe authoritarians always react this way :(
3
Rest assured, this administration has already prototyped the process by splitting up refugee families at the border. Homeless families will be split apart too. Journalists will not be allowed in - or any politicians who aren't Trump cronies. LGBTQIA+ folks will suffer a startlingly high death rate in the camps. There will be allegations of sexual abuse of homeless women & children by the staff. The people running these camps will later be found to have been participating in private FB groups where they demean homeless people and fantasize about brutalizing them. Every possible barrier will be placed between these concentration camp dwellers and their access to healthcare, education, voting rights, etc.
3
Leningrad Lindsey's seat is up for grabs in 2020 as well.
3
And to think, it all started when Trump first claimed he didn't know Parnas. That was his moment of awakening.
3
Nixon at least had the sense to bail when he realized his goose was cooked. Trump keeps vacillating between "I didn't misuse my office to get my political opponents investigated" to "everyone does this, it's no big deal", both of which fly in the face of the law and established precedence. He's ratfcked himself, and deservedly so.
3
@cloudstreets1396 This holding-accountable thing would work better if he and the president of the senate weren't sucking each other's d*cks while stacking the judiciary with Brock Turner wannabes.
3
Considering that the US is now producing more than 20% of the world's new cases of coronavirus, it's high time the rest of the world imposes mandatory 14+ day quarantine on any travelers from America - or, safer, just ban them outright. Like the US did with China.
3
Betcha whatever he's talking about is just as mythical as his imagined busloads of illegals sent in to rig elections. However, what's very real is the US threatening sanctions against Turkey & India for their temerity to purchase Russian S-400 air defense systems. Huh, when the vise started tightening, didn't the previous Reich's fuhrer yap a lot about unavailable superweapons? Just saying.
3
Well, to be fair, he did promise he'd run the USA like one of his own businesses. He seems to be on track to keep that promise.
3
Yeah. Ghouliani could present a 4K video+audio recording (verified to be undoctored) showing Trump asking MBS to get rid of Khashoggi because of something he wrote that was unflattering to Trump, yet all his loyal flying monkeys and Brownshirt irregulars would do is screech that he didn't do it and that even if he did do it, it wasn't a crime and the president can't be investigated. And this is coming from the same people who kept investigating Obama over and over again for Benghazi :(
3
@andrew_owens7680 May I borrow that?
3
By tomorrow afternoon the Republicans will have moved the goalposts someplace else .. like maybe "The judge and law professors did not personally witness the president doing these crimes, so therefore, they have no right to judge him!" Seriously SMH.
3
Somehow FOXed Noise hasn't yet told their sheeple about it. I've messaged FOXed watching people who seem flabbergasted to look it up and find that he was impeached on Dec 18th.

@jfm14 I wonder what Anne Frank would have said. Seven of them, crammed into a 450 square foot attic for 2 years while they hid. Couldn't even make soup lest the smell would give them away. Then again, their rabbi wasn't rage-tweeting about the economy suffering, or telling them to go out and pull an arbeit-macht-frei stunt and die to secure his re-election.
2
We have that problem in the US too, but hopefully that will return to normal after the next election.
2
Figured it wouldn't take the diehard Trumpies long to realize that Bolton really is just a deepstate liberal plant, a never-Trumper, a leftover who was appointed by Obama.
2
I really hope he can go nowhere in public without hearing that chant. Actual public that is, won't happen at his vetted Klan rallies. Of course his immediate reaction will be to militarize the police and make protest illegal.
2
Now there's proof that Ben Cline hasn't even watched the Star Wars saga - because if he did, he'd realize that the closest character analogue to Trump is Jabba the Hut.
2
@Bisquick "Manufacturing"? Have you been living under a rock the last four years? The only thing Trump ever says to Putin is, "Please, sir, I'd like another" even as Putin puts out bounties on American troops.
2
This is nothing. Wait until they finish becoming a minority party that's corrupted the system to ensure they remain in power permanently. They've already shed the "party of law and order" skin. Wait until they decide that staying in power means disarming America, which is what comes next.
2
Clearly he was fed up after being driven around the bend by Bunker Boy's tweets and whatever nonsense he saw on FOXed Noise. Guess no one told him it was all rhetorical hyperbole, not actual news.
2
Joe McCarthy, of the House un-American Activities Committee, would have put Trump in the electric chair for what he's done -- to be closely followed by whoever else here in the US is doing Putin's bidding. And THAT is how you clean house.
2
Iran is going to go 100% asymmetric over this. Maybe someone will gift them with multiple sets of S-400 air defenses for their cities. While they are not a superpower (able to send aircraft carriers or submarines to the US mainland) they are also not your run-of-the-mill third-world sort of place that the US usually tends to attack. And an American attack on Iran just united Iranians like few things could ever do.
2
That's just one of the many lies the conservatives tell each other. Impeachment never was about reversing the results of an election, not when it happened to Clinton and Jackson or when it was about to happen to Nixon. They are a long ways down the rabbit hole, and much of what they say makes no sense. They lost their little minds when a black man got elected twice to be president.
