I don't want to know what the basement is like.

Trump is an idiot. That said don't trust the fake news. My fellow Trump supporters there is a cure for coronavirus and its probably in your home. Simply drink bleach with a lemon wedge. Give it some time and coronavirus will be the least of your worries. Trump 2020

Wastebook/Fakebook is highly overrated. Just delete your account and move on. You won't regret it. No one ever regrets it.

All 15 regular FOXed Noise viewers have gotten arrested in the last week anyway for various crimes: pulling a wolverine claw on protesters; ramming into a barricade then shooting protesters; waving an AR at protesters; getting picked up by the FBI for plotting to terrorize minorities; and so on. That's gotta hurt their numbers.
1
@linuxrobotgeek Congrats on recovering from that - but - how did you do it? I will gladly toil the rest of my life helping people escape from the rabbit hole, if only there's a way to do it.
1
Think of it as the Republican version of cancel culture.

* insert Jedi hand wave * Those aren't the flying privileges you're looking for. You don't need to be on planes again ever.

@RP_Williams Oh no, it was stupid in the extreme to think that anything as complicated as a country could be reduced to the simplicity of falling dominoes. In the end, after the US left Viet Nam and the country went communist, guess what, the rest of southeast Asia did not fall like the dominoes of that dumb theory. I hope people are properly scandalized that they ever believed such hogwash in the first place.
1
@RP_Williams Eastern Europe did not "fall" during/after - it was overrun by Soviet military might. No such happened in southeast Asia. Try a different comparison.
1
@RP_Williams To be fair, I wasn't around then to smell the fresh propaganda in the news at the time. At the opening of the early-00s thing though I felt like the only sane person in the room, surrounded by gibbering idiots who said we had to go to war. They were as moved by propaganda as soap bubbles are by the breeze.
1
@RP_Williams Unfortunately I was sarcastic and questioning almost as soon as I could talk. My dad had copies of all the letters he'd written to the draft board, explaining why he shouldn't go to fight - yet he supported sending other people there to die. Needless to say he's glued to FOXed Noise and Trump these days :(
1
@RP_Williams Being able to contribute better from the safety of his desk, of course.

Republicans are clearly in need of some harsh wake-up medicine, maybe like the kind that loyal Nazis got during the winter of 1945-1946, when it became clear that their fanatical loyalty to a lying, conniving, corrupt leader is what helped their Fuhrer visit such ruin upon Germany.
1
Mind you, when people fantasize about 4 more years of Trump, they're mostly thinking of guaranteed election results in Trump's favor. State control over all media outlets. A strong police state. Minorities, dissident journalists, and people who vote the other way ruthlessly repressed.
1
@TranquilFaith4me Could you please tell me which Republicans lost it over Reagan? I hadn't heard that one before. Also what is the crazy librul world of which you speak?
1
Funny how the GOP doesn't want to start with the US state of South Dakota, which has never been locked down. As a result of that, South Dakota now has the fastest rate of case growth among US states, doubling every 4-5 days. At their rate of increase, the hospitals will be overwhelmed in 3-4 weeks and the whole state will be infected in 8-10 weeks. Funny how Republicans don't mention the one state that took their dimwitted advice to heart.
1
She's going full Baghdad Bob. You never go full Baghdad Bob.
1
@VMonkies Have you by chance read "Empire of Debt" by Wiggin & Bonner? The chapter entitled "MacNamara's War" is a work of art.
1
You know darn well that many times every day, he poses in front of the mirror, looks over that enormous frozen-suet-waterfall of his gut, and tells himself how sexy he is :( ewwww :(
1
Orphan Annie Better than Wastebook and with a fraction of the drama :)
1
A completely dry dick.
1
@biokido575 Is that like the Ben Shapiro style of marriage?
1
@andrew_owens7680 Thank you. Stay safe :)

I'm waiting to find out which off-duty capitol cops were among the insurrectionists. They would have had keys, passes, and intimate knowledge of the layout of the building.
1
And now we learn that Nunes had some involvement in the project to surveil ambassador Yovanovich, with options for a hit on her. Pretty sure that totally violated his oath of office.
1
@keirfarnum6811 Trump apparently can't be in the same room as Nancy Pelosi without spitting insults at her - and it's not as if she did anything as severe as run over one of his Beavises or Buttheads and then flee the law. Like the Mooch said, he doesn't see people as people, but as objects in his field of vision :(
1
Like agent Mulder for flying saucers and little green men, the conservatards desperately “want to believe™” that they're uncovering some massive Democrat guilt, some child sex slave thing in the pizzaria basement, etc, when in fact there is none. They just can't help themselves. Too many of them are like Robert Dear or like the Comet Pizza shooter :(
1
His projector bulb is running hot again. Remember, the closest Trump has ever come to being a "warrior" was when he got 5 draft deferments. He is only too happy to let others die.
1
She really needs to re-think that "aging porn star, overstayed visa illegally, found the right sugar daddy, brought the card-carrying-commie parents over by chain immigration, married to the guy who hates immigrants and chain migration" look. It is definitely not working for her.
1
Yeah. It's like something Louie Gohmert would say.
1
Considering that Florida and NY have roughly similar size populations (20 million range) it seems likely that Florida can see the daily highs that NY did - at peak, nearly 13,000 new cases per day.
1
@ZaireRH Trump is refusing to cooperate for the same reason that mobsters hide their books from the law - a rational fear of persecution over getting caught breaking the law. Every time new witnesses/evidence come forth (like the recently released emails showing the white house trying to cover up the fact that it was breaking the Impoundment Control Act) everything points the same direction: Trump is guilty.
1
Heck, she should totally hold off on sending this weak-tea impeachment to Senate. The job hasn't yet been fully done, thanks to all the evidence/witnesses/documents that Don-the-con has been holding onto like an angry constipated huckster. When it's done she can send it to Senate. The testimony of John Bolton, Mick Mulvaney, and others should shed a lot of light on these matters.
1
Trump knows well that the white majority in the US, who holds the vast majority of the country's wealth (above 95%), who has nearly all of America's political power, etc, likes to feel like they're a poor persecuted downtrodden minority. Wiki has articles on the Persecution Complex.
1
Facts don't care about his feelings, thankfully. LOCK HIM UP!
1
Now that their failed insurrection attempt is over, and they will be arrested by the hundreds or thousands for their capital crimes, they suddenly want a "let's meet in the middle" Kumbaya moment with the rest of us? Yeah, sure, maybe in 10-20 years after you've served your time in Club Fed.
1
@esqueejy If Trump supporters go on a rampage with firearms, rest assured, it will be more of what they've been doing the past 3 years: attacking visible minorities. And for that they must face consequences.
1
Somebody please cue up the Republicans talking about the free market and gay wedding cakes. Maybe they're suddenly into government control over the affairs of private businesses .. maybe Republicans wish they could mandate that every American purchase a MyFascistPillow to make poor Mikey feel better.
1
One of the best comments this week. Multiple thumbs up. May I borrow some of that imagery?
1
Who didn't see this coming? His "genius" "peace plan" for Palestine was to completely shut one side out of it (the Palestinians) .. same as how his "genius" "peace plan" for Af'stan was to include only the Taliban and the US military and completely shut out the Af'stan government and people. When he said the other day that the stockpile is "not for the states" (his words) you could tell that the US population just got left out of his "deal".
1
Trump's been hearing boos and chants of "lock him up" at every public event since the world series game in Washington DC, up to and including the NYC Veterans Day parade. Things are moving along at warp speed. 70% of the nation now feels he did something wrong. If any Republicans are awake and noticing what's happening, look for them to monkeywrench the 2020 elections once they realize they'll be out of power for a generation or more.
1
I'm fully expecting Moscow Mitch to make sure that not only is Trump acquitted of all charges, but that the whistleblower is sentenced in absentia to multiple lifetimes for treason, that charges are pressed against the Bidens, and that the 2020 election results should be discarded because they only prove bias against Republicans.
