  1. It's not just total contempt for the law. It's also near-complete ignorance of how easily the virus spreads, how easily the spread can overwhelm hospital capacity, and how many people will die if/when medical resources are overwhelmed. The only things these protesters are accomplishing are to further spread the disease and to prolong the pandemic.
