Did that same study by chance also include the numbers for how many of those hospitalized were vaccinated or not, and how many of the Massachusetts covid deaths were vaccinated or not? Oh, and the situation in Mass is similar to the situation in Delaware, where all of the covid deaths in June were entirely among the unvaccinated.

Gross understatement. Things are going to get MUCH worse. In the interests of maintaining my sanity, I've opted to put some kind of upper limit on how many tears per day can be shed for the memories of anti-science dopes who got Delta'd right out of the gene pool. Can't say they didn't have 18 months of news to get the memo about a new respiratory disease going around.

Oh no, it's not hopeless. Some of the unvaccinated will survive Delta, although the chances are approx 20% that they'll have some kind of lasting medical condition as a result, plus they will almost certainly infect their own loved ones. Like cigarettes, lotto tickets, it's just another form of voluntary tax.
