@cantecleer Specifically, you are peddling the fiction of, and pandering to, the nonsense that "anything but the vaccine" is the way out of this. I am so glad that people like you stayed under your rocks when the polio epidemic raged then was eliminated thanks to a vaccine that was new and experimental at the time. Likewise, I am so glad that people like you were nowhere to be seen when the government told us that the Japanese had just attacked Pearl Harbor and that we all had to go to war, working long hours in munitions factories and closing many regular businesses and putting on uniforms and being sent all over the world.

@colliecoform4854 Regarding "It is unfortunate that many people do not pay attention" << I would say it's an even greater problem that so many people drink from the poisoned well of misinformation, which is designed to appeal to the shallow prejudices of even shallower minds. Those people are still filling the hospitals, and morgues, in places where the vaccine is readily available for free just by asking. I wasn't there to witness it, nor were any of my friends, or anyone I've ever spoken with, or anyone they've ever spoken with, but I am pretty sure that back in April 1912 the Titanic really did sink in the north Atlantic.

@cantecleer Thanks for the long reply, but you are still pandering to those who, for reasons of disinformation, fear to get a vaccine which vastly improves their disease resistance. Feeding them things that help reinforce their fears ("Dear lord, ANYTHING but the vaccine!") is not helping anyone. Regarding "can't stand if people stand back and look at situations with an air of skepticism" << That's exactly the nonsense quoted by vaccine skeptics and election integrity skeptics. Usually they're the same people, in the US at least :(

Had they been allowed to, there would have no doubt been unscrupulous "news" outlets of the time that would have loved to monkeywrench our nation's attempt to fight for survival. Tucker Carlson would have been there "explaining" how Germany and Japan are our natural allies, how Pearl Harbor was "fake news", how we should just cope with the times by learning how to speak German and Japanese, you know, by letting everything happen organically instead of trying to fight it.
