  1. It's like the authorities here in the USA really don't want to know how bad the problem actually is. The ostrich approach :( hint: it doesn't work. That means cv19 will spread rapidly, and at some point in the next month or three, hospitals everywhere will be overwhelmed. Pay attention to how things go down in Italy because at some point we'll face all the same challenges.

I'm afraid the good doctor is correct on this .. if we were to do widespread testing such as China and South Korea are doing, the extent of the actual problem here in the USA will probably be breathtaking. All our leaders had to do was watch the news out of China, then South Korea, then Italy to see what was coming our way. Instead, angry tweeting and trying to cast blame elsewhere and whining about numbers looking bad.
