A whole generation put down what they were doing, donned uniforms, and spent four long years ducking bullets and watching their buddies get burned or shot or blown up. And we can't bring ourselves to wear masks? I almost want to reincarnate some WW2 vets so they could slap some sense into the whiners.

Anecdote from an hour ago - I live in a state (Oregon) where masks are required in public spaces. Yet this morning at a supermarket, I kept running into the same woman who wasn't wearing a mask, and who ignored all the evil eyes she was getting. Finally I looked at her pointedly and tapped the mask. She shouted out that some people are exempt (they're not) and that some people are smart. Huh. "Smart" like Herman Cain, she obviously meant. I moved away from her quickly after that. At least she didn't shoot me.

@Attila The Pub It's not horrible. It's gorgeous. The trouble is getting the inbred retrograde types (like that sheeple I encountered) to move back to the supply districts.

@Attila The Pub Put it this way: those losers are such mushroom farm dwellers (kept in the dark; fed BS; grown to like the taste of BS) that if a pandemic happened during Obama's time, and he told everyone not to wear masks, they'd be wearing them all the time just out of spite.

@Attila The Pub Clearly you seem to have missed the news that people with no discernible symptoms are able to pass on the disease to others. In fact they have no way to know if they're carrying it.
