  1. I guess DeSantis missed the "good old days" when thousands of people die of covid within a single day. Not much other way to explain his behavior. Maybe he bought into high-capacity crematoria.

  2. Apparently the new laws didn't make it illegal for you to mask up in public, avoid crowds, and continue being safe. Not yet anyway. But since DeSantis seems to want the disease to spread more widely, it's entirely possible that he might outlaw masks at some point down the road.
