  1. One of my friends is in recovery. He's 10 years younger, a bodybuilder, was in great shape, etc. For almost 3 months he's been fighting it and relapsing. He's apparently got permanent lung and kidney damage. He never got tested either! (USA)

I did some study on that .. the delay between the peak Mardi Gras attendance and the resulting peak in cases was around 40 days, but that was partly because no surveillance testing was happening in the weeks right after the event. At the worst of it, Louisiana was seeing above 2,000 new cases per day. I can mail you the infographic if you want. Other potential early super spreading events were not so clear in their resulting spikes.
