Well, for starters, states like Missouri supposedly had huge numbers of people previously-exposed to covid, yet that's one of the hardest-hit states for Delta. Missouri's overall infection rate is around 105 per thousand. Figure 10x that many were infected and had it asymptomatically. So if prior exposure led to immunity, the rate of new infections would be low, but instead it's pretty high. Same thing in Florida at 114 per thousand, yet a very high rate in new positive tests.

@allisonbumgardner1421 Glad you had a rosy anecdotal experience personally, but please don't confuse that with the larger reality that lots of people get sick from covid and some have died or will die. Wouldn't want to be the person who walks outside at McMurdo Base (antarctica), finds snow at their feet, and proudly declares that there's no global warming because there's snow on the ground where they are right now.

@allisonbumgardner1421 Re "We are the ones making up the percentage" << Almost all covid deaths these days are among the unvaccinated. Case in point: https://www.baltimoresun.com/coronavirus/bs-md-unvaccinated-coronavirus-deaths-maryland-june-20210707-7zugtntgifg4pomlrjy4lmjhnq-story.html
