@Leo3ABPgamingTV Look, the only way to stop this thing for sure would be to pop each individual into separate sterile confinement, so that bodily wastes and exhalations are incinerated before being released into the environment; with food hermetically delivered to each individual pod, and so on. But that is not going to happen. Heck, we don't even have the means to provide negative-pressure ICU for more than a handful of people. Personally, I am spending less time around people and more time alone in the woods in wild places (where there are no other people). Grocery shopping at off hours when the stores are empty. There's never been a better time to be a healthy introvert.

@Leo3ABP gaming You are correct, but I don't see western governments even thinking about how to accomplish geographic isolation of regions and communities. Here in the USA, our corporate overlords have long been using their "just in time" delivery scheme, meaning that stores can easily be full or empty depending on which way the daily overall purchasing rates deviate from normal. Now that the CDC finally admitted the barn is already on fire, I'm waiting to see how long it is before masks are required when going into stores, or how soon purchase limits are put into place.

@Leo3ABPgamingTV I am not advocating making things looser .. I'm just saying that those apartment buildings are going to act like mini Diamond Princess virus factories. As is that hotel in Tenerife.

@JS-jr1fo I am of the same mind. So China has got everyone holed up in their apartment complexes? Each of those will be like a mini Diamond Princess, a fertile breeding ground for the virus to spread. The fact that people are infectious even before they show symptoms (including elevated temperature) is what's dooming any containment efforts. In the end, the only groups of people that won't get this are the ones isolated aboard submarines and the space station and boats that have been out for a long time.
