  1. Of the 3 local friends I know who had covid, two of them had long covid (with strange aftereffects) and that was enough to keep me paranoid.

  2. There will probably be a whole lot of new specialty hospitals being built for those people, in much the same way that once loads of sanatariums existed to help people who'd suffered from tuberculosis. There will be huge numbers of people with these lingering troubles :(
